Kiotviet is Vietnam’s largest POS provider, with over 200,000 merchants across various industries. We are expanding into other Southeast Asian countries with our POS offerings and are expanding our product portfolio with new offerings in the fintech space.

What you will do
- Participate in the software development stages: analysis and design, testing, and operations;
- Read and understand solution and design documents; collaborate with teams to fully understand product requirements;
- Write testing documents and test plans, including: test plan, test scenario, test case;
- Perform both manual and automated testing for products;
- Support customers; verify and reproduce defects reported by customers; assess risks and retest the software after the Development team fixes bugs;
- Research and stay updated on testing tools and new knowledge that support the work;
- Propose improvements to the product or the testing process;
- Apply AI thoroughly in handling work.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- Software testing certifications are an advantage but not required.

Key Responsibilities
- Join discovery and refinement with PO/Dev; challenge requirements and surface risks early;
- Design and execute tests: functional, regression, integration, API;
- Build/Contribute and maintain automation; integrate into CI/CD;
- Report, triage and verify defects through to closure;
- Track quality metrics and drive improvements.

Must-Have Requirements
Experience
- At least 2 years as a Tester or equivalent;
- Hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum team;
- Experience testing web/mobile products in production.
Core Skills
- Requirement analysis & communication - read specs critically, ask the right questions, articulate risks to PO/Dev;
- Testing mindset - analyze systems logically, anticipate failure scenarios;
- Manual testing - web, mobile, API, SQL;
- Applied AI - use AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor…) to generate test scenarios from requirements, support scripting, analyze logs and draft docs; write clear prompts and always validate output;
- Automation - able to code in Python, JavaScript or similar to build automated tests;
- Learning agility - proactively pick up and apply new tools and methods;
- Data security awareness - handle sensitive data responsibly when using AI tools.

Nice-to-Have
- BDD/ATDD - Gherkin scenarios, living documentation;
- Automation frameworks - Cucumber, Playwright, Appium, Selenium, Cypress;
- CI/CD - maintaining test stages in pipelines;
- Performance testing - k6, JMeter;
- Observability - reading logs and dashboards (Grafana, Kibana) to investigate issues.

Soft Skills
- Careful, meticulous, and highly responsible for product quality;
- Good communication skills, able to present issues clearly;
- Strong teamwork skills and readiness to support other members;
- User-oriented thinking, with a clear understanding of the user experience;
- Proactively keep up with changes to tax and e-invoice policies that affect the product.

Domain Knowledge (Tax, Accounting & E-Invoice)
- E-invoice regulations & lifecycle — issuance → digital signing → tax authority code → submission → error handling;
- Tax & accounting basics - for household/individual businesses; reconcile invoice data against books using SQL/Excel;
- Plus: experience with e-invoice providers (VNPT, Viettel, MISA), digital signatures (USB token, RMS), or accounting/ERP projects.
